Full-time conference attendees who complete all required evaluation and attendance documentation are eligible to receive the maximum number of contact hours. Daily registrants can receive credit for each day in attendance. No partial credit will be awarded. Program Objectives

  1. To identify treatment approaches for successfully treating adolescents and young adults with chemical dependence, trauma, conduct disorder, co-occurring disorders and other psychological and behavioral issues.
  2. To be able to discern symptoms and characteristics manifested in these disorders and to diminish/correct their negative impact on the client’s interpersonal and family relationships.
  3. To identify advances in the assessment of at-risk factors and the “tie-in“ between diagnosis and treatment planning.
  4. To identify the importance of gender difference in the treatment of adolescents and young adults.
  5. To identify three pathways for helping adolescents to melt the freeze of the aftereffects of sexual abuse and trauma.
