Alan Schwarz is a Pulitzer Prize–nominated national correspondent for The New York Times whose acclaimed investigative series of 100 articles exposed the seriousness of concussions in sports, led to safety reforms nationwide, and was ultimately described as “the greatest feat in sports journalism history.” His work was profiled in The New Yorker and several documentary films, and was one of three finalists for the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.
