Program Objectives
To Identify, classify, and describe the various treatment strategies and modalities for treating substance abusing, self harming and or traumatized adolescents.
To identify and describe treatment methods and modalities for:
• Adolescents with Mental Disorders
• Violence, Aggression and Bullying
• Multidimensional Family Therapy, including the Father/Daughter Relationship
• Adolescent Critical Clinical Skills
• Teens and Meds
• Teen Stress/Counselor Stress
• Adolescent Eating Disorders
• Strength Based Communications with Adolescents
• Using Art Therapy with Adolescents
• The Impact of poverty and privilege for counseling adolescents
Full-Time conference attendees who complete all required evaluation and attendance documentation are eligible to receive the maximum number of contact hours. Daily registrants can receive credit for each day in attendance. No partial credit will be awarded. NBCC approval is limited to the sponsoring organization and does not necessarily imply endorsement of individual offerings. It is the responsibility of the provider to abide by NBCC guidelines.
