Depending on whose numbers you look at, somewhere between 70 and 85 percent of all crimes are in some way related to the use and abuse of alcohol or some other drugs. These crimes often translate into vehicular homicide, so called crimes of passion, assault, murder, robbery, burglary, domestic violence and child abuse.
