Many families with abuse dynamics-emotional, physical, and even chemical- produce a daughter who seems to emerge unscathed by the experience. She is dynamic, successful, competent, and self-confident. The effects of the abusive family dynamics show up in her personal relationships, where she often behaves in "victim like" ways with her partner. This workshop will explore these dynamics and present a model for treating these complex and paradoxical women.
