How to Use Distance Learning

To order lectures: 

1. Review the lectures available. We've organized them into topics.
2. Add the lecture you would like to purchase to your shopping cart.
   • Continue shopping until you have completed your course selection
   • Checkout and confirm your order.
     

When your order is confirmed the lectures you've selected are available in your personal "My CEUs" folder.   

To Listen to Lectures and Earn your CEs: 

1. Click on the "Log In" link on the very top of the www.usjt.com page.
2. Log in and you will see a  "My Account" link next to your user name. Click on that link.
3. You can now update all of your "My Account" personal information; addresses, professional profile, username, password, and when you click on the 'My CEUs" link you will see the lectures you have purchased.
4. Click on the "Stream Link" "Listen/Watch" link and enjoy the lecture.  Lectures range from 45 minutes to 1 1/4 hours. You can stop and re-start the lecture at any time.

When you are ready to take your test, click on "Launch Exam"

To Take your CE Exam:  

1.  Click on the "Launch Exam" button.
2. Read each question and click on the "Answer this question" button
3. Select the answer from the choices that appear below the list of questions and click on "Confirm Answer" to complete your selection.
4. Continue until all of the questions are answered.
5. When all questions are answered you will see a message that confirms that you have or have not  passed successfully. If you score lower than 70% on any exam, you do not earn continuing education credits.Successful completion of each lecture earns up to 1.5 CE Credits.
6. If you complete the exam successfully, an email is sent to you containing a link to your Certificate of Completion.

Your completed Certificates will also be available in the "My Certificates" folder under your "My CEUs" tab.

Other Frequently Asked Questions   

Do I have to complete each exam in one session?

No, the exam "status" will be "pending" until you complete the exam and answer all questions.

 What do I do if I fail the exam?

If you do not complete an exam successfully, you must re-purchase the lecture and re-take the test.

How long can I wait to take the exams for lectures I've purchased?

Lectures must be listened to and exams taken within 120 days of purchase. Once they expire you must re-purchase the lecture.

 How long will my Certificates of Completion remain in My CEUs folder?

Your completed certificates will remain in your CEU folder under "My Certificates" as long as you have a valid user account with usjt.com. You will see a dropdown box to select certificate activity "Before November 2011" and "After November 2011". If you successfully completed courses with usjt.com, select the appropriate option and the certificates awarded will be available to view or print.   

  How long with the lectures I've purchased remain in My CEUs folder?

The lectures you've purchased will remain in your My CEUs folder under the "My Exams" link as long as you have a valid user account with usjt.com.

What does the "status" mean next to my lecture name? 

Pending = the lecture has not been completed and still active. You can start and stop listening/viewing the lecture and taking the exam  as long as the status is "pending". 

Approved = you listened/viewed the lecture and passed the exam.

Failed = you listened/viewed the lecture but did not pass the exam.

Expired = you did not listen/view or take the exam within 120 days of purchasing the lecture.
